Ok so real quick. I have to thank the Lord first and foremost again. I held my second poetry event on this past Saturday and Iām still in lowkey disbelief that Iām doing it. This is going to be a journey for sure with stepping out on this mustard seed of faith and learning more to trust in the Lord with all of my heart, even the parts that are still broken.
With me saying that, our opening scripture was Psalm 147:3, āHeās close to the brokenhearted, He binds up their woundsā so even with me having such a broken heart with different places in my life, that will give me the reassurance that He will still be close to me.
Iām so thankful for all the women that came and supported this event. I pray that Iāll be able to reach more women in this journey of healing, poetry and imperfections. I told the Lord to keep me aligned, because this is not about me. Iām being used but this is not about me. This is about His daughters and His glory. Every ounce of me has to be lowered so can be raised higher and higher.
Not going to go on a full complete tangent, but I just pray that with the next step that I take, the Lord will continue to show me that He is still there.
I hope and pray that anyone that comes to support and continues on with this series that you get something and leave with something better. Even if itās just an experience or a pondering thought of you growing closer in your relationship with the Lord. All of our relationships with Him are complete different, we all have our own marathon to be on, but as long as you know that youāre striving to do well in the Lord and for Him, where can you go wrong? He made us perfect while being on this imperfect journey.
Isaiah 41:10 ā āFear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.ā
Matthew 17:20 ā āSo Jesus said to them, Because of you unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for youā
